Harlequin Supported FPS EXPO Celebrates 30 Years

FPS EXPO 2010 marked the 30th. Anniversary of the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers' (FPS) Exhibition, with even more exhibitors and a bounty of new product launches at Harrogate International Centre this week.
The annual event continues to receive serious commitment from all the major suppliers from every corner of the oil distribution industry. As well as oil equipment, which remains a key area of the show, this specialist exhibition appeals to manufacturers, suppliers and end users from the area of oil suppliers, tanker manufacturers, upstream fuel suppliers, lubricant suppliers, fleet operators, petroleum enforcement officers and environmental agencies.
Many companies from throughout the British Isles and further afield, were exhibiting. Exhibitors included truck manufacturers MAN Truck & Bus UK Limited, and Scania, alongside new exhibitors Cameron Forecourt, Cavotec UK Limited, Durapipe UK, Ineos Refining, LIS North Western, Southern Tank Services Limited and S Kalimnos from Greece. FPS EXPO continues to receive support from established regulars including, Alfons Haar, Central Welding, Environment Agency, Harlequin Oil Tanks, Mechtronic, OAMPS UK Limited and Williams Tanker Services.
More than 100 exhibitors covered 8,000 square metres in three halls to display the latest equipment, materials and services for the oil distribution and heating industries. During the two day exhibition, FPS hosted a series of free technical and legal workshops with subjects that help shape the future of the oil distribution industry. The exhibition concluded with the annual FPS Awards Dinner.

Whilst FPS EXPO 2010 may be over, the FPS has already turned its attention to FPS EXPO 2011 which will be held at Harrogate International Centre on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 April 2011.
