FPS EXPO: Harlequin Launches New Waste Oil Tank

Bunded storage tank specialist Harlequin, has launched a new addition to the company's range of Waste Oil Tanks at FPS EXPO - Europe's largest event for the downstream oil industry.

The new 2,500 litres model adds an important capacity option to Harlequin's range of Bunded Waste Oil Tanks. It brings the total number of Waste Oil Tanks offered by the company to seven, available in a choice of capacities from 350 litres to 2,500 litres.

Speaking at FPS EXPO, Harlequin's Marketing & Customer Service Manager, John Switzer said, "The ORB2500 has been developed in response to feedback from customers, which indicated a requirement for a larger capacity Waste Oil Tank. "

"The new model builds upon the success of our existing range of Waste Oil Tanks. Like all existing Harlequin Waste Oil Tanks, the ORB2500 is supplied complete with large capacity tundish, removable strainer, weatherproof manhole access, integral venting and Oil Care Campaign graphics as standard. An easy to read, factory-fitted hydrostatic contents gauge can also be supplied upon request and at additional cost.

"Fully bunded, the ORB2500 is fully compliant with existing and expected waste oil storage regulations throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and beyond, including the recently enacted Water (Environment) (Oil Storage) Scotland Regulations 2006 and the requirements of PPG2. As the largest model in our Waste Oil Tank range, the ORB2500 is specially suited to installation at civic amenity sites and commercial premises, where there is an ongoing requirement to dispose of waste oils and lubricants," explains John.

Production of the ORB2500 has recently commenced at Harlequin's Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Moira, Co. Armagh. Product deliveries will commence during May 2010 and the ORB2500 will be available from Harlequin Accredited Resellers throughout the United Kingdom and in selected mainland European markets.
