Countdown Begins To Harlequin Supported FPS EXPO - Harrogate, North Yorkshire 21 - 22 April 2010

There is a little over 2 months to go until doors open at Europe's biggest event for the downstream oil industry and already well over 80% of available exhibition space at FPS Expo Harrogate is already booked.

Organised by the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers, this year sees FPS Expo celebrate its thirtieth birthday. And despite the economic doom and gloom of recent years, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The list of exhibitors reads like a 'Who's Who?' of the oil heating industry, with almost 70 companies having already committed to FPS Expo. Confirmed exhibitors include some of the biggest names in the industry including Alpeco Limited, Atkinson Equipment, CH Materials, CTS Centre Tank Services, Central Welding, Dunraven Systems Apollo, the Environment Agency, Fuel Oil News, Harlequin Oil Tanks, Hytek, MAN Trucks, RTN Lakeland, Secu Tech and Southern Tank Services.

As well as providing an opportunity for fuel distributors and oil heating technicians to catch up with the latest industry innovations, FPS Expo also presents oil industry professionals with a unique networking opportunity. Throughout FPS Expo, there will be a series of free training seminars and workshop briefings, covering a wide range of pertinent technical and legal issues.

FPS Expo 2010 is being held at Harrogate International Centre on Wednesday 21st. April and Thursday 22nd. April 2010. Admission to FPS Expo is free, but pre-registration is recommended. Getting to FPS Expo

By Car Harrogate is less than 10 miles from Junction 47 of the A1M and the International Centre is well signposted. There is a useful journey planning tool available on Harrogate International Centre's website, which allows you to plan your car journey to Harrogate with ease.

By Rail For visitors travelling by rail, Harrogate Railway Station is less than 10 minutes from the International Centre. The Station is on the Leeds to York Line, and is serviced by daytime services every 30 minutes from Leeds and every 60 minutes from York. By Air For visitors travelling from further afield, Leeds Bradford International Airport is less than half an hour away by car, with licensed taxis available from outside the Arrivals area. There is also a new Bus2Jet Service (Service 767) connecting Harrogate to the Airport. Click here for a timetable. There are regular flights between Leeds Bradford International Airport and other UK destinations. Eastern Airways operates regular services to Aberdeen and Southampton, flyBe flies to Belfast City Airport, London Gatwick and Exeter, Jet 2 to Belfast International, Air Southwest services Bristol, Newquay and Plymouth, whilst BMI British Midland operates regular departures to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
