Graduate Career Opportunity with Queen's University, Belfast at Harlequin

For over 25 years, Clarehill Plastics Limited has pioneered the development of rotationally moulded environmental containers. Today, Clarehill is firmly established as the UK’s leading, independent manufacturer of rotationally moulded fuel storage products, under the Harlequin brand.
Through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the Polymer Processing Research Centre at Queen’s University, Belfast, Clarehill Plastics Limited can offer a unique opportunity to manage a challenging project which is central to the company’s development strategy. As an Associate in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, in addition to the valuable work experience gained, opportunities for business based training and professional development will be offered.
Project Develop innovative containment systems to drive the development of new products into new markets, through the establishment of a New Business Dvelopment capability.
Duration Two years with the potential of full time employment within Clarehill Plastics Limited at the end of the project. Applicants should not that although employed by Queen’s University, Belfast the post holder’s place of work will be in the company premises in Moira, Co. Armagh. From time to time it may be necessary for the successful candidate to spend short period of time in Great Britain and Europe. Candidates should therefore be able to travel at short notice. Applicant Profile Hold at least a 2:1 Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or Polymer Engineering or a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. In addition applicants must have a minimum of one year’s relevant commercial experience. Applicants who hold a 2.2 honours degree (or equivalent) in the above in addition to a minimum of two years’ relevant commercial experience or a related higher degree will also be considered.
