Harlequin Continues To Grow Export Market
05 December 2013
As Harlequin's export business continues to go from strength to strength, the company is pleased to announce the establishment of a distributor partnership in Japan.
Harlequin tanks are now available in a variety of territories across the globe and in recent years the company has built a solid distributor market in several countries and has shipped its products to markets as far afield as Singapore, Australia and Nigeria.
Harlequin's International Business Development Manager, Chris Mackie, says of the company's most recent Japanese partnership, "The partnership started with a series of trial tanks to a Japanese company, which claims to be one of Japan's largest distributors of B100 rapeseed oil. That company plans to roll out our tanks across its distribution network if the trial is a success. They favoured Harlequin's high spec PE tanks over steel alternatives, due to the higher risk of contamination through rust and other factors, with steel tanks. I am delighted that our reputation as a global leader in the rotational moulding of plastic tanks has enabled us to penetrate markets such as this. We have worked extremely hard at every level over the years to establish ourselves on a global platform, with world class products and I feel that we have reached our goal in doing that
