Balmoral Tanks Reaches Agreement With Clarehill Plastics
31 October 2014
Following a strategic review of its business, Balmoral Tanks Ltd has divested the manufacturing of its range of rotationally moulded water, wastewater, oil and rainwater harvesting products to Clarehill Plastics Ltd, trading as Harlequin, who will acquire a range of assets associated with the above products.

These assets include the use of the Balmoral name associated with particular products for a period of 18 months and items of rotational moulding equipment. Balmoral’s national sales manager, Duncan Ritchie, will transfer from Balmoral Tanks Ltd to Harlequin in the move; all other personnel will remain in employment with Balmoral.

Harlequin has been producing an extensive range of oil, fuel and water tanks for over 30 years. The company is committed to both product and market development and sees this move as an opportunity for its established customers to expand or develop into new areas of business.

Wastewater and rainwater harvesting are seen as growth opportunities both in the home and international markets and Harlequin is now very well positioned to service these sectors.

Both companies will work together to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining a focus on customer service levels. All current and outstanding orders with Balmoral Tanks Ltd will be fulfilled by Harlequin while future orders should be placed directly with Harlequin.

The new operation is effective 31st October 2014 and further updates from both companies will be issued in due course. If you have any queries in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact Duncan Ritchie on 07715 608772 or your Harlequin Area Sales Manager.

Harlequin will be in touch very shortly with further information regarding these exciting products.
